Troop 889 meets every Monday night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Memorial Church of Christ. The church is located at 35475 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. This is between Farmington and Levan Roads, directly across the street from Idlywild Golf Course.
Scouts should attend meetings regularly because it is the primary way you will know what the Troop is doing and learn the skills needed to advance in Scouting.
Scouts should wear your uniform to all Troop activities, including our regular meetings and all outdoor activities. The uniform tells other people that you have chosen to take the Scout Oath and to live by the Scout Law. Boy Scouting is a tremendous program and you should wear the uniform proudly.
Troop 889 welcomes Scouts of all religious faiths and from all communities surrounding Livonia.
If you want to learn more about Scouting and Troop 889, come visit us with a parent during one of our regular weekly meetings. That's the best way to get to know a Troop. You'll get to meet our Scouts and learn about the fun they have in Scouting.
Consider coming on a campout. Troop 889 goes camping almost every month. Check out our Troop Calendar for past and upcoming outings to learn about the places we go.
